Heavy metal contaminated soil has become one of the world’s most talked about scholars of public events. Jianping County is an important grain production bases and transportation hub of Liaoning Province,at present, few scholars heavy metal contaminated soil Jianping County of systematic research, this article through the heavy metal pollution of soil arca surveys and ecological risk assessment,Jianping County area with a view to heavy metal pollution prevention, protection and rational use of land resources to provide basic information data. This study selected Jianping County Agricultural Land surface soil for the study of the content of Cr, Cu, Ni, Pb, Zn, As, Hg, Cd these eight heavy metal elements descriptive statistics, spatial variability analysis;single factor pollution index,Nemerow index.the Present Situation index accumulation of heavy metals in soil contaminated areas were evaluated;on this basis, the use of ecological risk quotient evaluation of potential ecological risk index of the ecological risk areas to make evaluation, the main conclusions are as follows:(1) In addition to the content of Jianping County soil Cr, Ni, As these three elements does not exceed background values of the county, and the remaining five heavy metals content of more than background value of this county. Within the area of Cr, Cu, Ni, Pb, As, Hg, Cd has strong spatial correlation, the Zn element spatial correlation is very weak, affected by a certain degree of human factors, may be caused by the point source pollution. Cr, Ni, Hg, Pb, Cu,As the six elements are present in southern on the high side, the characteristics of dispersed zinc element pollution distribution in the whole region has different levels of pollution, pollution of Cd element distribution mainly concentrates in Jianping county in central.(2) The results show that the single pollution index evaluation,Jianping Cu, Zn, Cd, Hg in soil of these four elements exist violation, the rest of the four elements there is no violation. Nemerow index evaluation results show that in Jianping county soil Cu, Cr, Pb, As, Zn, Cd, Hg and Ni eight kinds of heavy metal elements have cause harm to crops. Accumulation index evaluation results show that in Jianping county soil Cu, Pb, excess Zn, Cd, Hg,the five elements, the rest of the three elements caused no pollution.(3) Ecological risk quotient (RQ) results show that in Jianping county soil Cu, Ni, Pb, Zn, As, Cd, the six kinds of heavy metal elements on the dangers of the county’s biological species and ecological process is less than 10%,for an acceptable level.Potential ecological harm index (RI) and the potential ecological harm coefficient (Eri) results show that in Jianping county soil Cu, Cr, Pb, As, zinc, Cd, Hg and Ni eight kinds of heavy metals were minor ecological harm degree, the harm level of sorting is:Cr>Zn>Pb>As>Ni>Cu>Hg>Cd.
