With the rapid development of economy in China, the exploitation of open pit is increasing. The increase in the size and depth of the mining makes the analysis of the stability of the slope of the open pit become more and more complex. The hydraulic characteristics of fractured rock mass and the coupling effect of seepage stress are always the key problems in geotechnical engineering field. Because of the existence of cracks in rock mass, the strength of rock mass is reduced, and the extension and coalescence of cracks are intensified, and the instability and failure of rock mass is accelerated. Because of the excavation, the stress distribution in the rock is changed,the deformation and failure of rock mass is changed, and the deformation and failure of rock mass is changed, and the change of seepage field in rock mass is changed.The coupling effect of stress field and seepage field in fractured rock mass directly influences and determines the stability, safety and economy of slope engineering.In this paper, the basic characteristics of seepage in fractured rock mass are described, and the current situation and basic theory of fractured seepage stress coupling are introduced. Then the influence factors and degree of the influence of slope stability are analyzed with a simple numerical example, and the influence of the characteristics of the fractured joints is studied. Followed by Anqianiron Xu Donggou stope east slope as the research background, firstly detailed investigation of geological environment of mining area. Then the structural plane is analyzed by using the method of 3D rock mass contact measurement system and the joint clustering analysis method. After the test, the strength index of rock mass is obtained and the parameters of the rock mass are obtained. Through the discrete element software UDEC to establish the simplified model of the mining field, and make full use of the software to set up the joint and crack function, considering the actual engineering of the joints and cracks of the structure surface strength reduction, focusing through displacement field,seepage field, stress field and so on. In addition, the influence of the coupling and the non-coupling algorithm on the slope is studied.
