7055 aluminum alloy is a new type of super-high strength aluminum alloy which is made and researched independently by Alcoa company. Because it possess high strength,low density, high fracture toughness,good corrosion resistance and many other advantages, it has gradually become the first material of civilian or military aircraft and spacecraft. So far it has been successfully applied to the Boeing777 and airbus A380 aircraft.In this paper, 7055 aluminum alloy material was selected as the research object.This paper researches the cutting parameters on surface roughness and the influence of the cutting force by the single factor test and orthogonal test. First, single factor experiment was used to explore the effect of cutting parameters on surface roughness and cutting force. second, the surface roughness and cutting force prediction model were set up by orthogonal test. At the same time, traditional J-C constitutive equation was established by quasi static tensile test and dynamic compression experiments. This constitutive equation was corrected based on high speed cutting experiment.The results of research show that:Although The J-C constitutive equation which based on the quasi static tensile test compression SHPB experiment can be well applied to the ordinary high strain rate process, it is not well applied to the high speed cutting process. The initial constitutive equation is modified by high speed cutting. After correction,we carryon high speed cutting by finite element simulation. The simulate results show that:the constitutive equation which has been established can be better applied to the finite element simulation of high speed cutting and meet the three tenors features.The influence of cutting force and surface roughness on cutting parameters which including milling speed(A), cutting depth(B), cutting width(C), each toothfeed factors(D)are studied.Poor results show that the component order on influence of cutting parameters on the cutting force of X can be expressed as B > C > D > A.The component order on influence of cutting parameters on the cutting force of Y and Z can be expressed as C> B > D> A. The component order on influence of cutting parameters on the cutting roughness can be expressed as D> A > C> B.The cutting force and surface roughness prediction model are established by the orthogonal experiment. After verification, the prediction model of surface roughness and cutting force which has been established can accurately forecast the real surface roughness and cutting force.
