There is a wide variety of chlorinated hydrocarbons in the nature. Being the important chemical raw materials, intermediates and organic solvents, chlorinated hydrocarbons are widely used in chemical industry, medicine, agriculture, leather, etc. Through volatilization,container leak, waste water discharge, pesticide usage and burning of chlorinated organic product ways chlorinated hydrocarbon entry into the environment, caused serious pollution of air, soil, groundwater and surface water.The eastern of the city is one of the city’s major industry clusters. A large number of metallurgical, chemical, chemical fiber, petroleum, machinery manufacturing enterprises are concentrated in the area and the total annual row of industrial waste water is about 36 million tons. Waste water contained large amounts of organic pollutants entry into the underground through various channels making the most of the shallow groundwater polluted, meanwhile,deep local groundwater is also polluted. Chlorinated hydrocarbon pollution of groundwater in the study area is particularly acute. By summing up domestic and abroad related research of groundwater chlorinated hydrocarbon pollution source analysis, the multivariate statistical methods combined with statistical methods based on GIS were selected for qualitative and quantitative analysis of chlorinated hydrocarbon pollution sources in the study area. Making clear of species, distribution and contribution rate of chlorinated hydrocarbon sources has an important guiding significance to the groundwater pollution prevention and control work in the study area.In this article, statistical methods include factor analysis(FA) and cluster analysis(CA)were applied to identify chlorinated hydrocarbon pollution sources in the study area which making clear of species, numbers of chlorinated hydrocarbon sources. On the basis of previous studies, statistical method based on GIS was used to analyze the spatial distribution of pollution sources. Finally, the absolute principal component score- multiple linear regression method was used to quantitative calculate the specific contribution rate of pollution sources.In this paper, the main research contents include:(1) The characteristics of groundwater chlorinated hydrocarbon pollution.The groundwater water samples were collected in different regions in the study area and made the detection of chlorinated hydrocarbon concentration. Relevant software was used for data statistics processing. Based on the results, the detection situation and the concentration range distribution of different chlorinated hydrocarbon were analyzed. Using the kriging interpolation method for interpolation data pollutants space map drawing to analyze the spatial distribution characteristics of each chlorinated hydrocarbons in the study area.(2) The identification of groundwater chlorinated hydrocarbon pollution sources.On the basis of the clearness of chlorinated hydrocarbon pollution characteristics and pollutant concentration at each sampling, the factor analysis combined with cluster analysis were applied to qualitative identify chlorinated hydrocarbon pollution sources. Chlorinated hydrocarbon potential pollution sources number and variety in the study area were determined.Firstly, using factor analysis to extract the common factor and according to the variance explanation rate to determine the number of common factors, then based on the factor loading of each indicator to judge the common factor contains chlorinated hydrocarbon pollution factors. By analyzing the characteristics of pollution factors involved in each common factor and the relationship between pollution factor to determine the source of the common factor.(3) The spatial distribution of groundwater chlorinated hydrocarbon pollution sources.Calculating the common factor factor score and comprehensive factor score and using statistical method based on GIS to analyze the spatial distribution of pollution sources. The ordinary kriging method was adopted to interpolate the achieved common factor score and comprehensive factor score. Using ArcGis9.3 software to draw the spatial distribution maps of different pollution sources and comprehensive pollution sources. Combining the concrete distribution of different kinds of pollution enterprises in the study area, the relationship between the pollution sources and the polluting enterprises were analyzed.(4) The contribution rate calculation of groundwater chlorinated hydrocarbon pollution sources.The absolute principal component score- multiple linear regression method was used to quantitative analyzed the contribution rate of pollution sources to the chlorinated hydrocarbon pollution of groundwater in the study area. The greater the contribution rate, the greater the influence on chlorinated hydrocarbon pollution in the study area. Firstly, the related formulawas used to calculate the absolute factor score of common factor, then make the absolute factor score of common factor as independent variables and the sum of the standard pollution factor concentration of each sample point as a dependent variable for multiple linear regression calculation, to get every pollution source’s contribution rate of groundwater chlorinated hydrocarbon pollution sources to the whole study area. With absolute factor score of common factor as the independent variable, each sample point pollution factor standard concentration as a dependent variable respectively for multiple linear regression calculation,we can get the contribution of each pollution sources of each pollutant in the study area.
