At present, most domestic oil fields have already come into high water-cut stage or the higher water-cut stage. But the recovery degree is only 30 percent to 40 percent, the most of remaining oil is still in oil reservoir, the exploit potential of remaining oil is still optimistic. In the north of the Xing4-6 block, the comprehensive water of non-main reservoirs reaches 93.75%, entering a period of high water cut, and thin and poor layers become the main development target of water flooding. Therefore, to ensure continuous and stable production, long-term economic and social benefits, EOR studies on thin and poor reservoir need to be carried out, adjust the injection system, strata combination and well pattern, and take appropriate measures, strengthen injection system, optimization measures program, which would form comprehensive evaluation and exploration technology and have significance for improving the utilization degree of thin and poor layers. This article is to use the static geology data to establish the geological model of development based on detailed information of geological features and reservoir characteristics. Considering the computing power of computer consideration, the geological model has been coarsened. Historical match has been proceeded according to dynamic data of field, the main index of matching are liquid production, comprehensive water cut and recovery factor, which all satisfy the fitting precision 3 percent. According to the result of numerical simulation, the remaining oil distribution of thin and poor reservoir is analyzed and the remaining oil types are determined. Through the quantification for the remaining oil distribution and watered-out state of various layers, the potentiality of the infilling adjustment and tapping measures are researched, and well spacing scheme is designed and optimized from development effect and economic benefit. It is shown that three layer series, namely saertu good layers, saertu poor layers, PⅠ4 and below layers, are used so that water cut decreases by 2.84%, and the recovery efficiency increases by 5.05%, which significantly improves the water flooding development effect. The result will provide reference for improving thin and poor reservoir.
