Research On The Modified Emulsified Asphalt Selective Plugging Agent

Oil well effluent is a big problem troubles the oil field development. Due to the anisotropy in oil layers, there are differences between each layer, and the inlet water will go through the most permeable zone, results this zone be drown too early, deducts oil layer energy, the water rate in oil goes up or even shut down the well, meanwhile some oil will not be extracted. Therefore, the water outlet should be paid attention to, suitable water plugging solutions should be adopted, to reduce to water rate in oil well, improve the working rate.Selective water plugging is a development direction blocking agent research. According to the different solubility of oil and bitumen in water, modified asphalt emulsion blocking agent in the oil reservoir that can be dissolved out, no damage to the reservoir, and the aqueous layer cannot be dissolved in water due to sedimentation in the pores, between the formation temperature and the particles to each other under the action of adsorption, aggregation of small particles and bonded together to form larger particles, and plugging of the formation of large pores, to achieve the purpose of water plugging. Modified asphalt emulsion blocking agent is non-toxic, odorless, construction safety, environmental protection, and other fine features a wide range of sources of raw materials, is a kind of novel selective blocking agent of oil pollution.In this paper, modified emulsified asphalt storage stability test was carried out based on a large number of experiments. 2% of coconut oil fatty acid diethanolamide / sodium dodecyl sulfate-based emulsifier, adding 0.2% polyacrylamide, developed a selective blocking agent of modified asphalt emulsion. Analysis of the stabilization mechanism modified asphalt emulsion and latex emulsion mechanism for the storage stability of modified asphalt emulsion was studied, discussed the emulsifier type and dosage, PH, stabilizer important factors modified emulsified asphalt storage stability. Modified asphalt emulsion prepared blocking agent in the low viscosity at room temperature, has a good injection of. Plugging rate experiments show that the preparation of the emulsion has obvious selectivity,it for water plugging rate is greater than 92%,but for oil plugging rate is less than 20%,and the blocking agent has a strong blocking ability. In field applications it made the restoration of experimental well nissan fluid to 22 t,nissan oil from measures before 6.5 t up to 8 t,water cut from 69% to 61%,and has achieved obvious effect of oil increase.
