Glyphosate, also known as roundup, is one of the strongest herbicidal activity in organophosate poisoning, is the prime herbicide for agriculture, lumber, livestock, construction, transportation area. Aimed at the problems in the production of glyphosate, with a focus difficulty lies in the processing method of glyphosate mother liquid, the topic will address the difficult way to conduct a study using electrodialysis.By the potential difference as a driving force, the electrodialysis technology was used in the research, in which the ion-exchange membrane was selected to process glyphosate mother liquid. At first, the composition and structure of ion-exchange membrane was screened and optimized as well the internal structure and group allocation of the traditional ion-exchange membrane separation unit was adjusted, so that the optimum separation and ion-exchange membrane material were selected. Then, a systematic study on treating glyphosate mother liquid with the separation technology was carried out. The effects of the composition of the mixture, the operate voltage and limiting current size on separation efficiency of the ion-exchange membrane were investigate. Moreover, the variation of the ion concentration of the light room and thick room with the separation time was also investigate. The processing of glyphosate mother liquid with high efficiency, low cost, as well as low environmental pollution was developed. Finally, the optimum technology parameters for glyphosate membrane separation was determined.That is, salt-free mother liquor of glyphosate, the operating voltage is 18 V, light room mother liquor of glyphosate is 1300 mL, the water in thick room is 700 mL, the flow rate of the electrochemical room is 60 L/h, the flow rate of the thick-room is 80 L/h, the flow rate of the light-room is 80 L/h.The mother liquor of glyphosate with sodium chloride, the operating voltage is 18 V, light room mother liquor of glyphosate with sodium chloride is 800 mL and the water is 500 mL, the water in thick room is 1000 mL, the flow rate of the electrochemical room is 60 L/h, the flow rate of the thick-room is 80 L/h, the flow rate of the light-room is 80 L/h,.The mother liquor of glyphosate with ammonium chloride, the operating voltage is 18 V, light room mother liquor of glyphosate with ammonium chloride is 1300 mL, the water in thick room is 700 mL, the flow rate of the electrochemical room is 60 L/h, the flow rate of the thick-room is 80 L/h, the flow rate of the light-room is 80 L/h.By which a high quality glyphosate product is obtained with a yield of 90%, meanwhile, the high quality triethylamine product with a purity of 99%can also be obtained.
