| Due to the success of Silicon Valley and other industrial clusters, manycountries start to develop the industrial clusters as a powerful means to enhance nationalcompetitiveness. As the economy continues to develop, we tend to develop the intensiveeconomic instead of extensive economic. The high-tech industry, as the highvalue-added, high-tech, low pollution and low-power industry, has been widelyappreciated and develop rapidly. Cluster environment, the formation of high-techindustries and innovation as an important feature of the high-tech are researchedextensively by lots of researchers. However, the factors of market competitiveness andprofitability impact of the high-tech industry cluster is still relatively less research. Inthis paper, we analyze how to increase the profitability of the enterprises in the clusterfrom a strategic point of view of the cluster environment. This question has the practicalmeaningful of the overall development of the high-tech industry cluster and how toincrease profitability of the enterprises. Therefore, we attempt to establish a theoreticalmodle to analysis the profitability of the high-tech industry cluster accroding empiricalresearch.We collected a lot of literatures that research about the field of industrial clusters,profitability and so on. After the literature review, we choose to research thedevelopment of high-tech industry cluster from the profitability factor side. The paperfirst defines the meaning of the hiigh-tech industry cluster. Considering the differentindustry has different features, we decided to choose the software industry that is belongto the high-tech industry. So, we define the sofware industry as our research region andanalysis the featrue and the development trend. Secondly, we connect the enterprisesand the cluster, talk about the impact of the enterprises from the cluster environment.Moreover, we add the other two factors, innovation and market competitiveness, whichalso have impact on the enterprises’ profitability. So we attempt to establish a modle toreasearch the profitability capability of high-tech industrial clusters that is clusterinnovation, innovation and market competitiveness.In this paper, we used the structural equation model and the statistic analysis software SPSS16.0and AMOS17.0. Firtstly, we design the questionnaire and thecontent of interview. Then, we chose the sample to collest the datas. We interviewedmany companies and collected datas that locate the Chengdu Hi-tech Western Scienceand Technology Park. Finally, we obtained the201valid questionnaires that can beanalysised by the software. After the empirical reasearch, we found the interaction wayof the environment, innovation, market competitiveness of high-tech clusters and howto affect the profitability. The outcome is great realistic significance to the futuredevelopment of the China’s high-tech industrial clusters.The innovations of this paper are as follows: first, we discussed the profitabilityfrom the enterprise level to the level of industrial clusters that is a research perspectivefrom a strategic height. We start a new perspective to discuss the growth of high-techfirms in cluster research field. Secondly, we used a new way to measure the profitability.What we used is not the traditional financial datas but the satisfaction of the companyprofitability. This way is useful to avoid the difficulity to obtain datas and increase theaccuracy of datas. Thirdly, we established a profitability model of high-tech industrycluster to analysis the profitability factor from three aspects of the cluster environment,innovation and market competitiveness. As the typical Science and Technology Park ofChengdu’s software industry cluster data samples, we did an empirical study by meansof the structural equation model. This survey is usefull of the development of theChina’s high-tech industry clusters. |
