With the imaging simulation technology development of remote sensing system,the imaging chain of optical remote sensing system has become an important part of theoverall aerial camera technology. Based on the physica l characteristics study of theimaging process of the airborne visible remote sensing system, the imaging chain ofvisiable remote sensing imaging system has been completed, which provides animportant reference value to solve the problem of output imaging simulation of airborneremote sensing system, the forecasts of remote sensing mission, the design of imagingsystems, the assessment of image quality.Firstly, the imaging characteristics of the CCD sensor of airborne camera and thecolor visualization principles of the output images of remote sensing system have beendescribed in this paper; Secondly, the theoretical models of the radiation feature fromthe transmission module, the detector response module to the color imagingvisualization module have been established; Finally, according to the establishedtheoretical model and image fusion algorithm, based on the Ogre simulation platformdeveloped by our laboratory, the imaging chain of airborne optical remote sensingsystem has been completed, and the quality of simulation images have been assessed.
