With the development of the technology of computer three-dimensional display and multi-modal Interaction, the virtual reality technology has improved continuously, and its characteristics of immersion, interaction, and imagination also kept expanding its application fields, virtual surgery is multidisciplinary intergrated of Virtual reality technology, mechanics, materials science, etc. And it provides a virtual operation environment for Operators, and obtains operation experience through multi-modal feedback in the progress.Operation effect is highly affected by the doctor’s personal skills, thus the operation training is of great significance for the entire medical treatment system. Traditional surgery training is limited in the lack of experimental subject, long time of training time, difficulties of result evaluation and other problems, which makes training process cost much and get few effect. And the emergence and development of virtual surgery provides a new way of thinking for surgery training.Based on the "virtual surgery" project, this paper designs and implements a particular serious game for surgery simulation and training, which makes users understand the related operation process and complete the operation training in the manner of a "game". Its target users are medical staff who need accept operation training, medical students and other related people, and the game presents virtual scenes and objects and provides medical apparatus and instruments needed in an operation, which form an integral operation environment ultimately.The game includes two main functions of instruction training and autonomous simulation training. The system predefines an integral operation process for each specific medical operation. In the instruction training module,users need to complete the operation in correct steps with the help of the guidance, this module aims to help users familiar with the operation progress and relative operating key points; And in the autonomous simulation, users need to complete the operation without any hint, the module then grade based upon completion time, correctness of the operation steps, evaluation standards and other evaluation criterions. The autonomous simulation module designs to test user’s proficiency of the operation.The game uses unity3D game engine for its developing, and completes the operation scenes and characters modeling and animation production with the help of Maya, and use MomoDevelop as the scripting environment with C#as the scripting language, which realizes the function of the system interaction.
