| In order to standard the medicine dispensing, this paper developed a automatedelectronic medicine dispensering cabinet with high efficiency and precision.Specificstudies on this medicine cabinet are as follows:1. First of all, The overall design of whole system has been formulated along withits hardware units. Secondly, concerned the system selection and other aspects of thevarious components, Some control parts have been given: Industrial machines, Motioncontrol card, Servo motor, Serial communication boards, etc.2. The designing of softwares for PC control has finished three parts as follows:The operational controling of Timing belt; RS485serial communication whichcompleted the entire dispensing package for packaging machines; Custom protocolCAN communication to complete successful control dispensing between PC and the PCand the other accessories.3. VC+++SQL Server has been used for database designing and systemdispensing. What’s more, it has provided the necessary data to support the entireprogram running and some other functions such as: entering medicines prescriptionsand managing other basic patient informations manually, querying or modifying thedatabase is allowed as well. |
