Solid volumetric true three-dimensional display technology use the realthree-dimensional space as display body, have both psychological depth of field andphysical depth of field, is one of the most promising three-dimensional displaytechnology.This thesis first introduced the parallax three-dimensional display technology and thetrue three-dimensional display technology, then studied the solid volumetric truethree-dimensional display technology, and successfully developed an engineeringprototype. This thesis introduced the hardware system of the solid volumetric truethree-dimensional display system, and designed the power and thermal managementsystem, provide guarantee for the stability of the hardware system. According to theelectrically controlled optical properties of liquid crystal light valve designed a H-bridgedrive circuit which is based on the MOSFET field-effect tube, achieved the state switchbetween scattering state and transparent state of liquid crystal light valve. This thesisstudied the limiting factor of the massive high-speed data transmission, used dynamicphase adjustment technique to ensure the massive high-speed data’s reliablytransmission.Against to the problem of stereoscopic display stratification which was caused bylower resolution on depth direction, the depth anti-aliasing algorithm was put forward,improved the resolution on depth direction from20to304, basically solved thestratification problem. This thesis designed a three-dimensional image reconstructionalgorithm, improved the equivalent data bits width, which reduced the system workingfrequency. Through the experimental study of liquid crystal light valve responsecharacteristics, determine the way of liquid crystal light valve electrode lead-out, andeliminated the effects of temperature, finally solved the flicker problem by raising theliquid crystal light valve refresh rate. Finally, this thesis build the true three-dimensionaldisplay system, and verified it. Verification results showed that: this system can achievethree-dimensional display, and the display is realistic to meet the design requirements.
