Based on interpersonal communication, this paper researches the famous talk show Yang Lan One On One with the knowledge of journalism,communication,and linguistic. With the perspective of interpersonal communication, this paper researches the motivation,background,process,characters and effects of Yang Lan One On One. From Yang Lan One On One, this paper sums up the the inspirations and suggestions for other talk shows. The body is divided into five parts as follows:Part1Introduction. This part mainly introduce the purpose and meaning of the research, the research situation of Chinese scholars towards this topic. This part also displays the primary questions that will be discussed in the paper and the staple research methods.Part2The individual analysis of Yang Lan One One On One. This part introduces the basic information of Yang Lan One On One from the diachronic and synchronic perspective. Therefor, the complete picture of the programme can be drawn. Meanwhile, this part also gives a brief introduction of the hostess and emphases her importance. At last, her hosting style can be concluded by comparison.Part3The interpersonal communication research of Yang Lan One On One. This part includes five aspects:motivation,background,process,characters and its effects. This part is the core of the whole paper. Its motivation involves payment and equality when fulfilling the payment. Its communication must be proceeded under some certain background, which turns into the basic frames of Yang Lan One On One. The frames contain talking frame and audience frame. Its process includes linguistic and non-linguistic ways, communication models and communication skills. Meanwhile its characters would be concludes in the process. Its communication effects mainly result from the message communication and effect communication. Opinion leaders paly important roles in the later period, and Yang Lan herself is an opinion leader.Part4the successful inspiration of Yang Lan One On One. This parts analyses the successful factors, including its location and innovation, its brand, and its measures in contents and transmitting. All these factors can be learned and imitated by other talk shows.Part5Conclusion. The summary of the whole paper. This part concludes the basic opinions and important conclusions. Some thoughts have been given about the future of talk shows.
