For explosion of ship and other weapons or any other dynamic tests in harshenvironments, the multi-point arrangement and adaptive sampling or some other means oftesting allows the storage and transmission of data has been a great challenge. Weapondamage and other real ship explosion test cost more and generated valuable data, test data islost or intercepted would cause huge losses. As a result, it is necessary to optimize thestorage test system. The encryption unit was new, as to ensure data security, and the datacompressed before sent to the backup unit to improve the speed of uploading data to a greatextent.In this thesis, XC3S400of XILINX company is as the control chip to achieveencryption and compression test data. In encryption module, the integrated use ofreplacement, substitution or other classic method simplified the existing encryption theory,which saved the hardware resources effectively. Combined with the security of theencryption algorithm, reliability analysis, the encryption algorithm superior performancewas further highlighted. Using VHDL to write encryption code in Xilinx ISE9.1andgenerated schematics, combined with Modelsim SE PLUS6.1f accomplished functionaland timing simulation. Simulation results and decryption software prove the algorithm wasa clear hierarchy, reasonable structure, easy realization encryption methods. It had somefeatures like reliable, secure, real-time, can effectively encrypt and accurately restore theoriginal data.Compression module used LZW algorithm after the contract of various datacompression algorithm and analysis of the data characteristics. Choosing rich logicresources of FPGA to establish A dictionary of capacity of512, to get a compression way ofusing area to exchange efficiency. Constructing a reasonable hash function effectively solvethe problems of arising conflicts during lookup dictionary. Conversion of the compressed data bits was convenient to store data. Using Xilinx ISE9.1to generated schematics andcombined with Modelsim SE PLUS6.1f accomplished functional and timing simulation.Compression examples and timing simulation results were consistent, verified thecorrectness of compression algorithms, indicating that the algorithm had good compressionresults to the test data of high redundancy, good correlation.
