Arbitrary waveform power source has been widely used in precision engineering, instrument calibration, circuit design and other fields. In view of the situation that the high-performance power source is monopolized by foreign products, a new integrated dual output arbitrary waveform power source was designed in this paper, which is based on embedded system, wireless network and other new technologies, in order to achieve the localization of arbitrary waveform power source.Using SOPC system based on Nios II embedded microprocessor, programmable Wi-Fi module and touch screen, the arbitrary waveform generator based on DDS waveform synthesis technology and wireless network waveform download technology was studied and designed in this paper. The wireless network download of waveform and on line programming of amplitude, phase and frequency were realized. On the basis of designing and realizing arbitrary waveform generator, the voltage power amplifier and current power amplifier were designed. The maximum output power of voltage power amplification is50W, the closed-loop gain is20dB, and the bandwidth is100kHz; the maximum output current of current power amplification is5A, and the bandwidth is also100kHz, achieving the power source’s driving function.Finally the test experiment were made. The results show that, the power source’s signal frequency range is0.1Hz~1MHz, power signal frequency rang is0-100kHz, with a resolution of0.01Hz, phase adjustment range is0°~360°, with a accuracy better than0.1°; output voltage amplitude is±100V, output current amplitude is5A. The power source’s output is stable with a low distortion, basically meet the design requirements.The features of this paper are:①changing the traditional PC serial mode for waveform data transmission, achieveing waveform’s network programming based on Wi-Fi wireless network;②achieving the power source’s automatic control and minimized of scale by using SOPC system based on Nios Ⅱ embedded microprocessor and touch screen.
