With the rapid development of the image sensor technology, image display, acquisition and other technology applied to all walks of life, for example:the essential camera functions in people’s lives and the ubiquitous monitoring system and so on. This article that combines the popular CMOS image sensor technology, designs an embedded electronic eyepiece based on embedded system.For a particular image collection and processing system, the embedded electronic eye-piece completes of the required functions by collects the valid image information to process and display. In this article, we show the wide application, reliability and other characteristics of embedded electronic eyepiece, through using embedded electronic eyepiece to replace the Optical Level’s Eyepiece. This system is based on the platform of ARM9, uses a CMOS im-age sensor, TFT displays, Fatfs file system, SD card and other peripheral equipment to realize these operations which include image’s collection, procession, display and storage. Use UC/OS-II operating system to manage the entire system which has high efficiency, low pow-er consumption, high stability and other characteristics.This system is Equipped with a resis-tive touch screen that can abandon the traditional keyboard’s bulky, complex operations and other shortcomings.The system has high integration, small size, feature-rich, friendly interface and the other features, which can be applied to remote monitoring, industrial control, test measurement and many other areas and reflects the certain development prospects of the platform.
