Hybrid Cloud Computing is a composition of Public Cloud and Private Cloud that can provide lower cost by Public Cloud and security by Private Cloud. Enterprise users can achieve their requirements by using Hybrid Cloud Computing. Hybrid Cloud Storage is the file or data storage service offered by Hybrid Cloud Computing. In this way, the Hybrid Cloud Storage service can combine the security offered by Private Cloud Storage and low-cost high-capacity service provided by Public Cloud Storage. However, the security and privacy is guaranteed by Public Cloud Service Provider which may not be fully trusted by customers. Furthermore, with the development of Machine Learning and Data Mining technology, the Service Provider can learn the data access records to extract user’s private information, which is named Data Access Privacy.In this paper, we firstly conduct a research and introduction of current Hybrid Cloud Storage technologies, including security of outsourced data, Data Access Privacy, weakness and means of attack. Secondly, we proposed a new Hybrid Cloud Storage approach which is based on current data security and Data Access Privacy protection. The main idea of the approach is to process data that will be stored in Public Cloud by using encryption, combination, fragment in private computing environment. The metadata of original data files will be stored in local devices and the processed data will be uploaded to Public Cloud Storage. In this way, the security and privacy access of original data are guaranteed by separating processed data and metadata. Finally, we implement the new Hybrid Cloud Storage system and take corresponding tests of data security and Data Access Privacy.
