The Design And Optimization Technolgy For WAP Gateway Of CDMA Networks

Business network which structured on the basic network is the network providing value added service. With the ceaselessly expanding scale of our country communication network and the increasingly fierce market competition, to provide diverse, hierarchical and comprehensive service has been one of the crucial means which helps operator in improving service level. After the telecom operators have been reorganized, China telecom has been the whole network operator, which owns many different terminals types, such as CDMA mobile user terminal, PHS Wireless local telephone terminal, telephone and SIP soft terminal, etc. Meanwhile, WAP(Wireless Application protocol)business has got developed rapidly by making use of itself advantage, and has been the development highlight of Mobile communication network data service. WAP gateway is the core platform to realize WAP service, which makes internet network and mobile communication network connected closely, taking standard language to support Mobile communication information source from more channels. And WAP gateway paid more attention to the safety of mobile data communication, and have realized complete end-to-end security solutions.Based on above need, this thesis gradually states technical study, design and practice of WAP GATEWAY platform. Firstly, beginning with analyzing China telecom whole WAP service structure, and then the thesis analyzes WAP service associated elements, collocation and application. This provides technical basis for designing and effecting province inner WAP gateway platform. After theoretical studying on WAP gateway, in subsequent chapters, it comes to show the technical plans of the NING XIA Telecom’s WAP gateway project which follows the China Telecom’s mobile network organizing principles and NING XIA Telecom’s particular demands, and the usages of these plans in the common project’s planning and carrying on stage. In addition, the thesis shows a business planning by listing the optimization of a typical business problem solutions after the realistic testings.
