In recent years, most hospitals in our country has spent great efforts to boost hospital informationization constructions, they hope to use advance computer technology, network technology and communication technology to rise their hospital management level. With the wide application and development of RFID technology, hospitals wish to use this technology to execute effective management and application for hospital management and medical care, and realize internal and external information share.My thesis is based on the RFID identification technology, combined Mianyang Central Hospital of digital information management platform integration project needs reference center hospital workflow, RFID tags will be applied to the digital hospital information management, using the RFID technology to complent center hospital medical information collection, treatment and patient information query.RFID reader and circular polarized antenna are the core devices of the system, they carry out data exchange with computer system and collect data from tags. The realization of system platform function is based on RS-485protocol. Before reader works that computer will send instructions to reader and configure the antenna, reader will establish communication with corresponding antenna, and realize data exchange with tags, then send collected data to database, and carry out medical care information collection, exchange and process for patients via software platform Reader in front of in the process of system development platform, I was mainly responsible for the selection of the reader hardware and software design. Selection of hardware design includes reader road network connectivity and peripheral control design.I’m responsible for hardware selection and software design in the development process of the system platform. Hardware selection&design include the designs of reader connection and peripheral control network.Now, the system has already been used in a hospital in Mianyang, the system use RS-485as data exchange means, it has adopted RFID technology and developed a set management software platform of patient medical. The system platform has largely raise the level of information standard construction and realized the share and integration of information between doctors, nurses and pharmacy.
