Spread spectrum communication (SSC), optic fiber telecommunication andsatellite telecommunication are three advanced transfer mode in communication inthe information age SSC is developed with its application in military communication. Itowns a lot of advantages that others do not have. Compared with the traditionalnarrow-band communication, spread spectrum communication is a kind of broadbandcommunication that the bandwidth occupied by signal is far great than minimizebandwidth that the transmit information necessary. With the development of SSCtechnology, it gradually applied in civil communication.The paper introduced the development history and actuality of digital signalprocessor briefly. Focus on analyzed the direct sequence spread spectrumcommunication systems. And then analyzed the superiority of the DSP chips (mainlyTMS320C5000series) that applied to the field of spread spectrum communication,introduced a DSP system’s basic structure and design process, on this basis, carryout the study on the key components of the spread spectrum receiver.The main content of the thesis is the study on PN code synchronization, carrierdemodulation and channel decoding of spread spectrum communication receivingsystem. In the thesis, through the demodulation analysis that carry out to themodulation mode of the FSK,2DPSK,QPSK. And process the assisted simulation bythe system-view software at the same time, for the FSK the thesis design the modemalgorithm based on DSP, design the procedure flow chart, analyzed the superiority ofthe algorithm,show the simulation waveform of the system, and verify the correctnessof the modem algorithm by the signal’s right receiving.
