The Design And Implementation Of Staff Task Management System For China Metallurgical Construction

With the development of modern information society, a more severe competitive situation between enterprises has been formed.The traditional management model and lagged contingency measures weaken enterprise’s core competitiveness.There are some obvious problems that cannot be solved in short term occured in the management of internal affairs.China Metallurgical Group proposes establishes a flat management structure through task management system, which implements collaborative work, enhancing the core competitiveness and achieving sustainable development of enterprises.This paper designs and implements China Metallurgical Group Employee Task Management System, using use-case diagram, class diagram, sequence diagrams and activity diagrams based on UML language to describe the system’s demands, design and implementation.Analysing system’s requirements with UML use-case diagram, combining with task management needs, knowledge management needs, time management needs and information communication needs, it divides the demands of China Metallurgical Group Employee Task Management System in to task management, work plan management, work log management, project reports, knowledge-base management, partner management, credit management, bulletin management and control panel. Then realizing system’s technology and architecture with Java programming language,choosing SSH framework integrated Struts, Spring and Hibernate frameworks,the employee task management system is finally developed based on B/S structure. Designing each function’s methods of implementation in task management, work plan management, work log management, project reports, knowledge base management, partner management, integration management, bulletin management and control panel, the system uses UML class diagrams and sequential chart to describe it. China Metallurgical Construction staff task management database also uses relational database SQL Server2008database management system as the database.Finally, integrating each functional module to test it overall and taking screenshots.Establishing of a task management system makes it possible to check and monitor mission progress through the Internet anytime, anyway.The available resources and the progress of the task can be freely checked in the task execution which has a clear direction.
