Presently, according to the requirement of network construction and businessoperatioin, many network management support systems have been founded by threedominant telecom operators in China, China Mobile, China Unicom and China Telecom.Among these network management support systems,3-layer architecture composed ofcollection layer, processing layer, and application layer is utilized frequently; moreover,three layers are implemented independently, which causes the same source to becollected repeatedly. Therefore, a modern unified collection platform is needed to seekand manage information conveniently.The unified collection platform is composed of data dictionary management model,user management model, configured collection source model and collection strategysetting model. Based on data dictionary management model, the setting of informationabout network elements and vendors can be implemented, and through usermanagement model, the roles of different users will be set; the adaptors and collectionsources will be managed in the configured collection source model, and performancedata are collected and stored in the database by collection strategy setting model.Moreover, data share and distribution is accomplished through Enterprise Service Bus.The process of unified collection platform is analyzed in this paper, whichcomprises research background, requirement analysis, security analysis, database design,system implementation and function test. The schema of B/S (Browser/Server) isadopted in the process of implementing the unified collection platform ofcommunication network performance data. Additionally, UML tools are utilized toaccomplish system analysis and code is implemented based on advanced SSHframework to improve the collection efficiency greatly than ever, which will guaranteethe collection efficiency and quality of network performance data.
