In the power system,optical fiber communication mainly loads the business of voice communication,real time data and grid protection information, office automation, video, IP,etc.Fiber communication system plays an important role in the safe and stableoperation of power grids. Besides, the electric power communication isplanned not only to meet the needs of production and management, but also tobecome a new economic growth point.Based on optical fiber manufacturing technology and optical cable designand manufacturing technology research, my paper mainly discusses theoptical fiber type of Opticalphase Conductor(OPPC) and fiber optic cablemanufacturing technology, etc.,in order to provide some reference for thecommunication network operation and network planning.At present, Theoptical fiber communication mode of OPPC made by the southern power griddistribution network is a more reliable, safe and effective means ofcommunication, including complex OPPC cable connection and theconstruction technology, which should be given priority to solve. In the north,especially in Hei Longjiang Province and other alpine regions, less OPPCnetworking applications is used, considered to the special cable, which is stillon the stage of exploring the trial. The cable achieves the double function ofwire and cable through the compound light as a unit of electric power linephase line. Based on2013state grid company of science and technologyproject of QiQihar in Hei Longjiang Province power——low voltage powerdistribution network OPPC cable using the project specific engineering practice, this paper introduces the OPPC cable construction method andtechnology of the alpine region in the north as well as the specific problemsencountered in construction and solutions. Its main content is to build a5kmOPPC cable between Angangxi and Xintuo mountain which is located indifferent routing (tower) from the original light path to ensure the safety ofinformation and communication network and improve the operation rate. So,when the original cable routing meets external force damage or has a standbyline fault channels,we can ensure the business is not affected.
