Intelligent sensor plays an important ro le in many fields during the informat ionage, people obtained all kinds of informat ion through the intelligent sensor. More andmore requirement for various aspects o f the intelligent sensor along with theincreasingly updates of science and technology. Especially in how to effectivelycommunicate with intelligent sensor, in order to get accurate and effectiveimformat ions and can meet the requirements of different occasions.The developmentof bus technology also make intelligent sensor show a wide variety of interfaces, thuscan choose appropriate interface according to the requirements of intelligent sensorduring the system design.However, due to the the singleness of intelligent sensoroutput interface, it violates the design principle of small volume of the smart sensorsif it integrated mult iple output interface. Alt hough each big manufacturer andcompany design different interface converter for their own industry field, used tosolve the problem of communication between host computer and the smart sensors,but most of these interface converter can only use to singular conversion, it alsocannot satisfy more conversion type occasions.Therefore, it designed a mult ibusconvertor in order to solve this difficult problem based on the output interface modeof intelligent sensor and to so lve communication problem between the host computeror the remote terminal.First, studied the funct ion o f the mult ibus convertor deeply. Analysis andco mpared the output interface o f intelligent sensor in detailed according to thecharacteristics of the intelligent sensor output interface mode.Select the appropriatedway of input and output which can meet the demand of pract ical application for themult iple bus convertor. Introduce the mult ibus conversion module’s hardware circuitdesign in detailed based on the characteristics of each bus. Mainly includes theselection of controller, input and output interface circuit design.It designed the workmode,the operating o f data store,the process of software implementat ion and thecommunication program design of the input and output interface to software design o fthe mut ilbus convertor.Built the experimental model in order to verify the function o f the mult ibusconversion module.Verified the validit y of the input interface can collect data fro mthe smart by test. Take the smart sensor MMA7455I2C interface for example. Carriedon the transformation of input and output interface experiment.Collected data through the I2C interface and sended out through the CAN interface, LIN interfaces and RS485interface, and validated and stat ist ics the received data. And the data would not lostwith low bit error rate and high reliabilit y under the certain baud rate of input and output interface through the experiment.It can meet the purpose of this topic research andprovides a reliable solut ion for data acquisition and transmission of the future o ffieldbus control system.
