As an important technology of the modern information acquisition, wirelesssensor network (WSN) from the date of birth, it has always been the hot spot of theresearch and application. In recent years, wireless sensor network technology hasmade rapid development, it has broad application prospects in many fields of industry,agriculture, military and national defense, environmental monitoring. Wireless sensornetworks as a new research field, facing many challenges, the node self-localization isone of them. At present, the node self-positioning has become a very importantresearch directions in the field of wireless sensor networks.This research work of this article mainly around the subject of the wireless sensornetwork localization algorithm, introducing the relevant theoretical knowledge ofwireless sensor network and expounding several kinds of typical wireless sensornetwork localization algorithm and its advantages and disadvantages, based onDV-Hop algorithm, it uses advanced distance measurement technology andcutting-edge node position calculation method, designing modified wireless sensornetwork localization algorithm, and verifying the feasibility and rationality of thealgorithm by using simulation. The specific content as follows:(1)This paper analyzed the three steps of the two-dimensional DV-Hop algorithmin detail, since the distance measurements and trilateration of the DV-Hop localizationalgorithm has bigger error, this article aiming at the shortages of DV-Hop algorithm,improving the three aspects of unknown node distance estimates, anchor node trustand using LI algorithm to calculate the unknown node position. This paper adoptingthe LI localization algorithm which has high precision and can overcome the aboveshortages, and combines LI localization algorithm and min-max algorithm, newimproved DV-Hop algorithm has been proposed, and the improved new algorithm hashigh applicability. By comparing the DV-Hop algorithm and improved DV-Hopalgorithm through the simulation, verifying the higher calculation accuracy andcoverage of the new algorithm.(2)Most of the time the wireless sensor network applis in3D space. This paperputs forward an improved3D DV-Hop algorithm facing the application of3D space,,DV-Hop distance calculation stage of algorithm adopts the method of setting thethreshold value in sensor node, SDI algorithms in the position calculation. At last, using Matlab simulation result shows that the3D DV-Hop improved algorithm greatlyincreases the calculation precision of the algorithm.
