To ensure it can be shorten the development cycle, save funds andimprove the testing level of the system, we should develop the universal satellite ground testequipment which can be testing a variety of signals.For the digital systems, the development and application of USB system is essential. Onone hand, with the version constantly updated, the transmission speed of USB Technology hasbeen developed to480Mbps from1.5Mbps that is can greatly meet the needs of differentdigital system for serial communication requirements; on the other hand, USB technology isdifferent from the previous serial communication interface technology, According to the need,the digital systems can be developed into a corresponding USB host and USB device inpractice that has a great flexibility of data exchange among different systems.In short, because of a series of advantages in the high transmission rate, supportinghot-impalpable, being convenient to use and easy to extension, USB, a new PC computerinterface, has been widely used in industry. This paper takes the computer as the host and theuniversal ground test equipment as crew, realizes the the transmission and receiving of thewhole equipment instructions and data though USB interface. And it also introduce thefunctional unit that is designed by system hardware, Firmware process, the writing of thedriver and application program, analysis the process of data transmission and system specificdebugging methods.
