| The colorful, entertaining and commercialized Taiwan TV shows have wonadmiration from the Mainland audiences. Their news show programs have affected thenews program in mainland in various degrees. Many researches have been conducted byanalyzing the development of the TV and journalism in both districts. However, most ofthem are based on their own perspectives without a comparison or fusion. In this paper,narrative feature of Taiwan’s commercial news program have been studied and analyzed.And a statistic research has been conducted with the "Taiwan Evening News" programas a sample. Borrowing the idea from the research in Liujun’s study, the definition andclassification criteria of the commercial news program in Taiwan has been given in thispaper. Data analysis from five difference aspects, namely quantitative criteria, narrativetheme, narrative structure, narrative style and narrative effect are provided and analyzedwith content analysis method. Corresponding conclusion is also given in this paper.Based on this specific issue, this paper analyzes the Taiwan commercial newsprogram s narrative features in three levels. The possibility of transplantation of suchcommercial news program to mainland is also given. Moreover, the potential hazard ofsuch transplantation has also been analyzed in this paper.The innovation of this paper is listed in four aspects. Firstly, it clarifies the conceptand definition of the commercial news program; Secondly, it optimized the frameworkof narrative analysis in commercial news area; Thirdly, statistics result from real samplehas been provided by using content analysis method, and finally, it combines theadvantages over the quantitative analyzed and factual judgment, whose conclusion canprovide better reference for Mainland’s commercial news program from Taiwan’sexperience. |
