In Wireless Communication Systems, Precoding scheme is one of the schemes whichare studied to mitigate the inter-cell interference, especially for users on the cell edge. TheseSchemes are categorized into linear and nonlinear, due to the complexity on implementationof nonlinear scheme; the focus of this study is on Linear Precoding Scheme which groundedinto three types mentioned as Signal Leakage Noise Ratio, Zero Forcing and BlockDiagonalization. The study based on cooperative Multi-cell MIMO System where by eachBase Station serve more than one user and all Base Station on the system are assisted to eachother by shared Channel State Information which will make the transmitter to have theknowledge about the channel.Based on the Multi-cell Multi-user MIMO system each Base Station on the cell isintended to maximize rate of data transmission by its own Mobile Stations throughincreasing the Signal Interference to Noise Ratio after the interference has been mitigateddue to usefully of linear precoding schemes on the transmitter. Moreover, these Schemesuse the different approaches to accomplish the task of interference mitigation, the studymainly concentrated on evaluating the performance of these schemes based on the channeldistribution model like Rayleigh and Rician and also looking forward on their performancedue to the presence of imperfect channel state information, upon dealing with the idea ofcooperative on system the users at the cell edge will consider signals with higher signalstrength as the desired signals from the served base station. Generally, through themathematical derivation for each scheme the consideration done on the receiver side toprocess the signal for each user on the system and the MATLAB environment used assimulation tools to conduct all the experiments and the results evaluated based on theaverage capacity rate against signal to noise ratio which will conclude the contribution ofeach scheme on the improvement of the system performance, hence the results shows thatthe SLNR scheme has better performance than ZF and BD on overall consideration.
