The research of prosthesis control system has great significance to improve the quality oflife for the disabled and promote the development of medical welfare. It is also an importantresearch issue both in intelligent control and robot field. The paper studied a five-degreefreedom prosthetic control system based on voice signals considering the currentshortcomings of prosthesis control system based on EMG and EEG signals. The system canbe able to achieve multi-degree freedom control of the prosthesis by using speech command.It is more convenient to the disabled and also improves the recognition rate of control system.So it makes up for the deficiency of control system based on the EMG signal and EEG signals,and further improves the quality of life for the disabled and meets the needs of socialdevelopment. The control systems have the characteristics of simple structure and low energyconsumption. It is also apt to expand the features according to needs in the future work.After studying the existing prosthetic control and the theory of speech recognition, thepaper designed robust speech control prosthetic system based on the Sunplus SCM. At first,the paper introduced the prosthetic hand control system and voice recognition technologydevelopment in the world to clarify the research background and significance of the topic.According to the structure of speech recognition system, then the paper respectivelyintroduces the characteristics of speech signal and the basic principle of speech recognition.Through the analysis of system function and characteristic of the embedded system design,the paper puts forward the general structure and control scheme of the system. By contrast,the paper chooses Sunplus’ SPCE061A as the core control chip. The hardware part of system,such as expansion circuit of main chip and the motor module, are designed based on the corecontrol chip. The paper make a research of the robust recognition algorithm based onembedded system. After that, the paper realizes the system software design. Finally, theexperiments show that the control system has high recognition accuracy and the responsecommand is fast. It is also easy to control and has a feature of intelligent.
