Many research institutions involved in the study of Autonomous Soccer Robot in recentyears,because it focused a lot of cutting-edge science and technology. For example:information fusion technology, dynamic monitoring and decision-making, independent pathplanning, navigation technology, switch of soccer robot’s roles and task allocation and soon,which are very similar to human. Soccer robot is used for laboratory research, which canpromote the development of artificial intelligence, robotics and life sciences. In the soccerrobot competition, its various performance quality can be test in practice. So the design andresearch of soccer robot has great significance on this article. In this paper, intelligent soccerrobot control system has been designed and researched, include hardware and softwareresearch, mainly from the following content:(1) First state the background and significance of the research, and the general overviewof the development of intelligent robot at home and abroad, which summed up the keytechnologies of intelligent robots, such as: information fusion technology, navigation andpositioning technology, path planning techniques, the control system-control mode using thehost computer+multiple motion control card, and elaborate the soccer robot’s control overallsystem block diagram.(2) In this paper, the design of the soccer robot control system is divided into severalmodules, and modules is independent of each other, for replacement and maintenance easily,and costs is much lower. General control system can be divided into upper and lowermachine,the PC is a high-performance laptop, motion control cards as the core of soccer robotto control the sensor module, communication module, execution module, motion module,power module. In this paper has designed each module’s hardware and the correspondingsoftware.(3) Football robot’s control system has conducted experimental verification, whether thethe hardware and software is accurate and reliable.Experimental results show that theexperimental project is feasible, and can achieve the required functionality.
