This topic comes from the National Science and Technology Support Program“underground visualization wireless communications technology and equipment for disasterrelief based on the mesh network”(2013BAK06B03). With the rapid growth of the nationaleconomy and the demand for coal rising, the tight supply of coal forces the number of mine toincrease every year and mine safety to face a severe test. In chinese mines, rescue equipmentsare less visualization and poor hardware integration, and rescue video is low resolution, faintin low light conditions, lack unity and coherence, sensitive to interference, unstablecommunication quality. To improve the mine rescue equipment performance, the key is toimprove the quality of underground video signal processing.A multimedia emergency communication systemfor Mine Rescue is developed by TaskForce concerning the problem in existing underground rescue system, such as poor videosignal, vulnerable to environmental disturbance, low system integration rate and failure todisplay rescue information on the spot.The system includes rescue information recorder,underground base and ground command center and I mainly complete the video processingsystem in whole system.The rescue information recorder and underground are based onS3C6410hardware platform, and use WinCE6.0as a software development system to achievecollection, codec, transmitting and displaying of the video data. The article utilizes the ownencoder MFC of S3C6410for codec digital video data which is collected by front-end CCDcamera as h.264file. Ground command center is based on individual PC platform, usesdeveloped H.264decoder Ffmpeg for the received video decoding to achieve the real-timedisplay of the ground command center. IN this article,according to the characteristics of themine rescue environment,an optimization about the Ffmpeg is made to reduce CPU usage ofdecoding and make the image more clearer and smoother. Ground command center also storesreceived video information as AVI files for later playback and lessons learned.The software are developed by C++language in VS2005development environment in the thesis. Test results show that this software enables send video in underground rescue tounderground base and ground command center in real-time and accurately, which can helpcommand center controls the rescue site real-time information and improve the efficiency ofrescue. This system has accomplished rescue video processing, improved the equipmentintegration and video images screen definition and made the downhole rescue visually.
