With continuous improvement of living standards, people have an increasingrequirement on the residential function. Intelligent household has been a hope of human,which can realize communication between substance and human, whenever and whereverhouseholders find out the home status and control them. Smart home can also make lifesafer, more comfortable and convenient. The emergence of the internet of things technologyprovides a good technical foundation and brings new development opportunities to smarthome.In recent years, The internet of things technology is advancing by leaps and bounds.However, remote controllers among traditional infrared appliances are not compatible,infrared signals are in working state only within direct-view space. It is under thebackground that this subject is proposed, which designs ZigBee-based smart homes controlsystem that completes home internal network establishment, exchanges informationbetween home internal and external network and realizes self-learning of infrared remotesignals. This system can achieve ’no gap’ share between switch value mode in home andtraditional infrared appliances. With advantages of low-complexity, close-distance,small-volume, low-loss, low-cost, good self-healing ability and low transmission rate,ZigBee wireless communication technology is the preferred choice of internal networkestablishment technology in smart home. The gateway utilizes MCU that is low cost, whichcan get rid of PC mode. It is the development tendency of smart home gate way.This dissertation puts forward a new design and implementation method of intelligenthousehold on the basis of existing studies. This dissertation is organized as follows:significance that the infrared remote control and intelligent home network combined isfirstly analyzed; combining with the actual needs and in-depth research of the ZigBeenetwork topology, this dissertation uses cluster network as the network topology. Secondly,a new network controller of low-cost, high-flexibility and good general applicability isdesigned by CC2530ZigBee chip and MSP430F247MCU,which can provide protocolinterface for ARM server. Self-learning infrared module that learns infrared appliances’scontrol system in order to implement replication various remote control and telephoneremote module with voice system module. In order to save storage space of the infrareddates that are saved on nonvolatile memory and are used by various controllers, this paper utilizes clustering and pattern recognition to do signal’s separation and compression. So, wecan add traditional infrared appliances to smart home networking to enrich seamless controlsystem of intelligent household. Finally, this paper uses CC2530chip with switch module,sensor module and infrared emission module to realize the ’no gap’ share among switchvalue, infrared signals and sensing dates. About software, in addition to the simple interfaceand various control patterns, we can control the number of furnitures in line with ourwishes.Compared with traditional intelligent household, the system in this dissertation, whichis free-wiring, easy-scalable, personalization, convenient-maintenance and ’no gap’ controlamong infrared appliances, has widespread application prospects.
