Biological fermentation is a complex biochemical process. The temperature had remarkableinfluence on biolgical fermentation process. However, because of the features of nonlinear,largedelay and multi-interference in the temperature controlled objec of biological fermentation,conventional control algorithms are difficult to achieve a satisfactory control quality. The papertakes the ferment device as controlled plant, and focuses on the feasibility of the internal modelcontrol, fuzzy control and model reference adaptive control of the biological fermentationtemperature control and fusion methods. The main research work and contribution of thisdissertation are as follows:For the characteristics of large time delay of the controlled object, the paper take a directinternal model control program which can take a basic effective solution to adverse effects oflarge time delay to the system. The internal model control requires accurate models of thecontrolled object,however, the uncertainty of the fermentation process makes purely internalmodel control be difficult to achieve a satisfactory control quality.The fuzzy control based onexpert systems can adjust the size of the gain of the internal model control online to makeaccused object of internal model control and the model to be consistent all the time, to someextent, be able to overcome adverse effects of the large delay to the system.Fuzzy control of the larger time delay system for controlling, however, prone to oscillation,and there are still some interference in the fermentation process such as the chemical reactionrate, yeast activity, and uncertainty in the reaction stage. So the application of model referenceadaptive adaptive adjustment process of the above control is considered, making thefermentation process be stable operation at different stages, thereby improving the quality ofproducts. Using Matlab software simulation results show that the model reference adaptive fuzzyinternal model control scheme for the fermentation process temperature control effect significantimprovements.Taking internal model control、fuzzy inner model control and model reference adaptivefuzzy internal model control in the fermentation device.The results show that improved fuzzycontrol is better than others control algorithm in response speed and overshot.
