Along with the humanoid intelligent level of progress and digital signal processing technology to improve, the use of auditory system to sense the world around them has become an important research field of the robot research projects, namely the sound positioning system of robot. In a robot voice positioning acquisition system, only the positioning signal specific data is not able to visually indicate the specific location of the sound source. This dissertation introduces the concept of virtual reality and designed a more completed sound source localization roaming system to specifically shown an abstract sound source.This dissertation presents a virtual sound source location roaming system scheme based on DirectX that designed to display virtual sound locations.We designed a whole system processing in this scheme, discussed various means of building the3D scenes, discussed the scene roaming and human-computer interaction methods, and finally added the system test link. In general, this system has realized a perfect combination of sound source localization technology and virtual reality technology, namely through the sound source localization module collects sound localization signal, send it to the sound source localization roaming system for processing into a three-dimensional space coordinates, then the coincidence in3D virtual scene that built by3D modeling software, makes the virtual sound source model appears in the corresponding position, so as to realize the sound source position display directly, and through the means of human-computer interaction in virtual reality technology implementation of roaming and view the scene near the sound source, it can further understand the situation near the sound source. The main procedures of this roaming system is designed at the Microsoft Corp DirectX and VC++environments, so it provide a strong compatibility in Windows system, it is also convenient for function expansion. During the testing while the system is finished, it can stably receive location signal, and the system interaction functions can be used normally, the virtual sound sources also showed normally.
