As an advanced research fields of electric power system, Micro-grid has beenextensively studied and developed all over the world with the characteristics offlexibility, environmentally friendly and high reliability.With the improvement ofthe intelligent degree of micro-grid operation and the development of embeddedethernet technology, the Micro-grid monitoring system gradually develops towardsthe direction of network.The paper has introduced a monitoring system which is anintegrated platform combining communication, information and control technologytogether.It uses the advanced communication technology to monitor the micro-gridequipments in real-time,to collect the electric energy information and protect themicro-grid,etc.Above all, This paper introduces the current research status of micro-grid inthe domestic and foreign, establishes the micro-grid system model, analyzes theoperation mode and control method of micro-grid, and realizes the access formbetween the micro-grid and large power grid,etc.According to the requirement ofrapidity and real-time of micro-grid monitoring system,we apply the ethernetcommunication technology to collect and control information. Secondly, we set ahardware experimental platform based on ethernet communication. Consideringabout the rapidity of communication,we cut the TCP/IP protocols, choose someethernet protocols that are suitable for the efficient transmission of the system, andanalyze the protocols of ARP,ICMP,IP,TCP and HTTP.In order to improve thereal-time performance of communication, we transplant the embedded real-timeoperating system μC/OS-Ⅱ to the CPU. In multi-task management mode, CPUexecute the task more efficiently. Finally, for the whole monitoring system,weadapt the B/S communication mode,use the web page and design the controlalgorithm to realize the remote communication and control.This system realizes the real-time information interaction between web pageand micro-grid controller, also achieves the monitoring to multiple communicationnodes within the LAN and WAN. Through the upper monitoring system, we canget the real-time running status of the micro-grid system, and can control the siteplants timely.The system also provides a better monitoring platform for managers.
