D Online Paperless Examination Of Zhejiang Wanli University

For recent years, the computer technology and the network technology havedeveloped rapidly, and the computer network technology has been introduced to thefield of education gradually. Many novel ways of education, such as remote educationand open education, have more influence on the people’s ways of working and learning.For these ways of education, to test the students studying, the online paperlessexamination has become a main mode of the school examination.Based on the research of online paperless examination, the main purpose of thisthesis is to develop an online paperless examination system. To verify the effectivenessof this system, some examinations of elective courses will be finished on the system.The main research of the thesis is shown as follows:1. Base on the research of the online examination system, the basic characteristicsof online paperless examination system is introduced. Besides that, the advantages andcharacteristics of the system development in the application framework and thecorresponding theoretical knowledge are studied, and some common development toolsare briefly introduced2. We had doing needs analysis for the system, the target is: Devising and realizinga full system including management specification, fully functional, stable operation, andfriendly interface. The design principles are better expansibility, texturing and scoringpapers intelligent, system security, and definite system participants.3. To satisfy the actual requirements of the online examination system, based onthe analysis of the architecture of the system, B/S mode is selected, and AdobeDreamweaver CS4, Editplus, Altova XMLSpy Enterprise are employed as developmenttools. Besides, the SQL Server2005is used as a database.4. Based on the function of modules, the system can be divided into twosub-systems, the management system of the teacher and the examination system of thestudent. The functions of System Management, examination question databasemanagement, texturing papers management, scoring papers management andexamination system management are realized. The technologies as optimize database ofASP, texturing papers and database exchanging of XML, and random texturing papers are realized.5. To realize the system, the XML data storage technology is researched as the keytechnology of this system, and the setting of the database security and the optimumproposal are provided. Besides, some source codes of the important modules are listed.
