Medium density fiberboard (MDF) is the brightest spot in the wood-based panel industry, in1980s MDF was introduced into China and was soon accepted by the market depend on its unique properties of the product, and its comprehensive utilization capacity of wood raw material is better than the other two wood-based panels. For Chinese scarce of forest resources, to some extent, MDF eases the contradiction of timber resources between supply and demand. In the process of MDF continuous press, hot-pressing is the key to affect the quality of slab, and holding pressure process plays a decisive role in the thickness of the slab, format flatness and sanding margin. In recent years, while introducing foreign production lines, local companies constantly researched the continuous press pressing machine with independent property rights, so the study on MDF slab thickness control is significance in MDF finished performance, utilization of raw materials and other aspects. In this paper, the MDF Continuous Press Position Servo System Modeling and Intelligent Control are studied, the main contents include:Taking MDF steel type continuous press of electro-hydraulic position servo system as the research object, through mechanism modeling method, analysis of the position servo control system working principle of each function part, the electro-hydraulic position servo control system mathematical model is established for the continuous flat-pressing holding pressure step load inelastic deformation characteristics derivation.According to the MDF continuous flat press pressure slab thickness control problem. Firstly, the digital PID controller is designed, which meet the basic control system stability. Then, considering rapid slab thickness control requirements, the simple structure of the Zero Phase Error Feedforward tracking PID controller is designed, the controller realizes the fast tracking of the signal amplitude gradient. In order to realize the pressure cylinder displacement output fast non-overshooting control, an adaptive genetic PID controller is designed, the controller has strong ability to suppress interference and parameter adjustment time soon. Finally, considering the affection on modeling of approximation accuracy for the change of system parameters and the linear model of system, the fuzzy control theory is introduced, the fuzzy controller optimized by genetic algorithm is designed, which can realize the stable and rapid control without overshoot, faster response speed, shorten the process of system design expert experience programming. The feasibility and effectiveness of of the intelligent controller are simulated and analyzed through MATLAB programBased on the DCS design concept, the MDF continuous press thickness monitoring system is designed. PLC as field level controller handles the production line data. The interactive interface is built by KingView software, to monitor the steel strip spacing and to show the real-time curve, the curve of history, historical data and so on.
