Radar active deception jamming, which is similar to the radar signals in waveforms, uses false target information to interfere the radar detecting and tracking system.The identification and suppression of the radar active deception jamming have becomea troublesome problem which should be urgently solved for the radar anti-jammingsystem. The discrimination of active deception jamming which is based on featureanalysis and extraction of the received signals, provides the precondition andfoundation for the suppression of the jamming. In this dissertation, main work issummarized as follows:1. The production mechanisms and characteristics of the transmitting deceptionjamming are studied and their mathematical models are established. Study theircharacteristic in the time domain or frequency domain. It is the foundation of thefollowing work.2. For three kinds of radar active deception jamming signals, multiple featureextraction methods are studied. First of all, the fluctuation characteristics of echo andthe deception jamming are analyzed. Then the signal distortion caused by nonlineareffects of the amplifier and jammer is analyzed. Various effective characteristicparameters are extracted, and their change rules with the SNR (signal-to-noise ratio)or JNR (jamming-to-noise ratio)are analyzed. For the gate pull-off jamming,multiple texture characteristic parameters which provide input to deception jammingclassifiers are extracted with the aid of image feature extraction methods.3. Use the decision tree for identification of the radar active deception jamming,and analyze the advantages and disadvantages of this method. Three effectiveparameters are selected based on K-W test, Distance Ratio of within/between Classand Fisher Discriminant Ratio. Template matching method is adopted to identify threekinds of interference and achieves high recognition probability.
