With the more rapid development of society, the faster pace of life of the people."Energy" and "green" are two key words in today’s global society. Energy saving andenvironmental protection has became the focus of today’s society. The traditionalmicrowave oven (turntable microwave oven) heating uniformity and heating efficiencyis insufficient. Flat microwave oven, due to its special microwave stirring system(antenna), get better uniform heating and the heating efficiency with respect to theturntable microwave oven. Study on antenna boom in this circumstance. Such researchcan not only improve the performance of flat microwave oven, but also develop newfunction, so that it is in the leading position in the microwave oven industry.Microwave research and development industry often using traditional design andmanufacture of "design-trial-correction" mode. In actually this old R&D model isunscientific, wasting a lot of money and prolonging the period of R&D, resulting in lostmarket competition. Scientific R&D model is "simulation-test-correction". Firstlysimulate the mode based on the theory, then trial prototype which can feedback to thesimulation and improve the prototype. After that small series production can be madefor market researching, and finally large-scale production can be made to hit the market.Research shows that combination the simulation and test makes the microwave deviceresearch more efficient and accurate.Because of specificity of microwave and irregular structure of the cavity, wecannot get the analytical solution of the electromagnetic field in this cavity.Alternatively, relying on the computer we can get the numerical solution.Electromagnetic field simulation software HFSS of Ansoft Corporation is based on thefinite element method. So it has certain advantages in the simulation of multi-modehigh-frequency resonator, in particular, contains a variety of loss medium.This article discusses the theory of microwave antenna, the flat microwave ovenantenna and design antenna structure. This paper proves the curved antenna caneliminate the blind area of microwave of planar antenna and analysis the way toimprove the heating uniformity and heating efficiency. Studies have shown that the new curved antenna, contrast to the planar antenna, heating uniformity was improved by10.3%and the blind area of microwave was eliminated. Simulation and prototypetestify two types of food which have the maximum temperature difference reached22.7℃can be heated to the same temperature at the same time with the new3D antennadirectional. Using this new3D antenna rotating, heating efficiency of a single food canbe improved by10%.
