In order to meet the needs of the growing wireless broadband technology, ThirdGeneration Partnership Project (3GPP), which is the the international standardsorganization, started the Long Term Evolution (LTE) project. Subsequently, Achievingthe universal mobile telecommunications system’s requirements for the next-generationwireless communication system, high-rate and high spectral efficiency, the3GPP putforward the LTE-A process. LTE-A based on the LTE and combines the technologies ofcarrier aggregation, relay technology, Coordinate Multi-Point (CoMP) and so on. As akey technology for LTE-A, CoMP eliminates the users’ interference, caused by highspectral reuse between cells, to raise the throughput of the system, especially the celledge user, so it is paid more extensive attention.In this paper, we mainly study the coordination strategy for CoMP technology ofthe LTE-A, including Coordinate Multi-Point Jiont Processing (CoMP-JP/JT) andCoordinate Multi-Point Coordinate Scheduling/Beamforming(CoMP-CS/CB). First ofall, based on the existing research, in this paper I propose a coordination strategy that apart of users adapt CoMP-JP/JT within a static cluster to eliminate the interference ofthe edge users. Then, according to this proposed coordination strategy, a selectionalgorithm of the coordination users based on the users’ channel isolation witnin thestatic cluster and a determination method of the optimal channel isolation threshold areproposed. Next, this paper improve the above coordination scheme that partial usersadapt CoMP-JP/JT within a cluster, and propose another coordination scheme that somecluster edge users adopt CoMP-CS/CB, to eliminate the interference between theclusters. Meanwhile, a coordination users’ selection algorithm corresponding to thecoordination scheme between the clsuster is proposed. It is based on users’ channelisolation winth adjacent cells.After the theoretical analysis, we build a simulation platform of the CoMP systemto simulate the proposed coordination strategies and the algorithms,and compare withthe existing coordination strategies and algorithms, respectively. Firstly, the experimentsshow that comparing with CoMP-CS/CB collaboration based on the degree of freedom, the performance of the proposed coordination scheme that partial users adoptCoMP-JP/JT within a cluster is better, under the same amount of coordination users,and comparing with fully cooperative transmission within the cluster, it can reducegreatly the backhaul between cells. Secondly, the experiments show that theperformances and reasonability of the two kinds of coordination users selectionalgorithm based on channel isolation are better than the existing according to thedistance. Finally, the experimental results show that the second coordination schemethat some users’ between clusters adopt CoMP-CS/CB can further enhance thethroughput of the system above the first scheme that partial user within the cluster adoptCoMP-JP/JT.
