Along with the national grid power communication network construction havebeen expanding, equipment and input of funds are also increasing. The process alsoneeds to spend a lot of a wide variety of power equipment and structural reform of thecommunications industry due to electricity maintenance work on the communicationnetwork is similarly put forward higher requirements. Equipment of traditional powercommunications industry, the shortage of human resources, to add maintenancepersonnel strength, not only related to staff time is required to conduct an inspection ofthe engine room, copying the data but also the important equipment, test equipment,normal efficient grid operation. Human resources in this way creates a burden can notbe timely and accurate troubleshooting, the reform of the electric power communicationnetwork is a timely, so as to promote the development of the national grid to producegood benefits to improve the engine room unattended will not be able to solve the faultcondition. China has put forward the goal of building a smart grid is intelligent on theexisting grid. Smart grid will be integrated, two-way, high-speed development of thenetwork as a building foundation, with the help of advanced science and technology,sensor technology, data measurement technology, control methods, as well as a varietyof advanced technology in the electrical online application, create a reliable, secure, fastgrid running environment. Grid with self-healing capabilities, effectively resists externalattacks, to meet the needs of users in all aspects of the new century, and the promotionof the electricity market, and the high efficiency operation of the assets.
