With the development of our social economy, city urbanization is graduallyaccelerated, increasing people’s travel is frequency, road traffic capacity is saturated,these traffic problems have become increasingly prominent. While the city publictransportation has the advantages of large capacity, low per capita road. According tothe analysis and experience research results home and abroad city traffic, it can get thekey way to solve the city traffic problem, which is to give priority to the development ofpublic transportation to this conclusion. One of the important symbols of thedevelopment of public transport is also a measure of national modernization degree.Public transit system is the city public transportation system. It is an important subsystem. The scale of city road infrastructure expansion at the same time, the roadextension, will meet the needs of the people of bus lines also increases. In addition,construction around the foundation of road will lead to the change of bus lines, the fixedstop is not updated, bring some trouble to the travel people. Design of bus inquirysystem, by the time the bus management staff to update the management line, siteinformation, has certain necessity. To provide convenient searching system for publicbus transfer scheme, selection of optimal conveniently provide when people travel,provides a convenient way for the future development of public transport.In this paper, it firstly summarizes the development status of domestic and foreigntypical city bus transfer system, and the study of bus transfer theory and transferalgorithm. Then from the system feasibility and user’s point of view on the city publictransit system has completed the system demand analysis, according to the existing datainformation in Harbin city bus lines, using Microsoft Office Access2007to establishthe basic database, using Visual Basic language design and implementation of Harbinbus query system. The system consists of user management, data management,information query, transfer inquiry and exit five modules. The design of a hand from theuser point of views, is the main query functions, including line, site query and transferquery. On the other hand, from the administrator design point of view, the main usermanagement and on the bus lines, the site and so on the basis of data add, delete and modify functions, the implementation of basic data maintenance and update thebackground. The characteristics of this design is to achieve a variety of transfer querymode, separately from the least transfer times and the shortest path in two ways thatdifferent transfer query results, in order to meet the different needs of the user. The leasttransfer number query is based on the breadth-first search algorithm, the shortest pathqueries using the classic Dijkstra algorithm.The algorithm this paper studied has the versatility and portability. The applicationsystem designed is simple and convenient. It is not convenient for travel passengers touse, and can provide the best appeared route for users, thereby reducing the passengertravel cost, improve people’s travel status. Therefore, it has great application value andpractical significance.
