Optical fiber Bragg grating sensor with its passive, small volume, strongelectromagnetic interference, corrosion resistance, the reuse ability etc are widely usedin industrial control, civil structure, fire safety, and energy chemical industry, etc.Optical fiber Bragg grating (FBG) strain sensors in practical engineering applicationswill be under the influence both of temperature and strain, different ways of packagingmaterials and packaging the specific measure performance of fiber Bragg grating has agreat influence. In areas such as aerospace, oil exploration, usually need to contactstrain measurement under high temperature conditions, the traditional optical fiberBragg grating strain sensor is difficult to meet the long-term survival and precisemeasurement under high temperature is requirements, especially the traditional gluepackaging of the fiber Bragg grating strain sensor under the condition of hightemperature stability has been unable to solve.According to the above problem, this paper with high temperature optical fiberBragg grating strain sensor is used as the main object of study, in the thorough analysisthe theory and technology based on the principle of optical fiber Bragg grating, the fiberBragg grating temperature and strain sensor has carried on the thorough discussion andresearch. Main content is:1. The research of high temperature resistant fiber Bragg grating encapsulationmethod, choose a suitable method, and based on optical fiber raw materials itself, theanalysis to above300°C fiber resistance need to related parameters, moreover theresearch before and after the annealing process and annealing the change of the grating,which is to ensure that can make a good performance, high temperature resistant fiberBragg grating strain study finally substrate materials, found with spring steel as thehigh-temperature resistance strain sensor substrate is the best effect and gives its stableworking temperature range.2. Research on optical fiber Bragg grating strain sensor structure, fiber Bragggrating strain sensor of temperature and strain cross sensitive issues, put forward a kindof very good correction of temperature compensation structure, the strain distribution were obtained through the ansys finite element analysis software simulation.3. Research on optical fiber Bragg grating sensor encapsulation technology, thispaper proposes a new gel encapsulation methods, this method has solved the previousglue packaging brought about by the unstable problem such as zero drift and aging, inaddition to stable work of optical fiber Bragg grating temperature up to300°C, andform a complete set of design to production of packaging products platform, hasrealized the transfer from theory to application.
