With the rapid development of mobile web, more and more people get information with mobile device. WAP2.0has brought more rich and colorful pages that show in mobile device. However, the mobile terminal’s computing power is limited, and the screen size is smaller, it’s much harder to find the interested information with mobile device as quickly as desktop. The problem that how to get information through the limited mobile devices as quickly as we can has become a hot research area in recent years. This paper mainly opens out the research based on the mobile device semantic information, user profile and the web page semantic information, with the follow production:Firstly, this paper analyzed the collection and processing methods of mobile device semantic information, user profile and web page semantic information in browsing context, and proposed a new user profile model called UCT(User Content Time) base on the characteristics of mobile browsing context, in this model, we use text vector space combined weight to compute user profile. We also proposed a STU-DOM model in mobile browsing context base on the STU-DOM tree, based on which we build the STU-DOM tree by analyzing the web page semantic information combining mobile device semantic information and user profile, so as to provide theoretical basis for the web page conversion.Secondly, we proposed an WAP2.0web page conversion method based on mobile browsing semantic information, the semantic analysis and web page reconstruction are the most important processes. We proposed a technology named STU template injection in the web page reconstruction process, which can enhance web page’s display effect after conversion.Thirdly, An WAP2.0web page conversion prototype system is designed and developed combining above proposed schemes in the dissertation. We described the basic principles of each module and their development methods. At last, a comparative experiment is given in this paper, and the results show that the web page conversion method base on semantic information can solve the problems effectively coming from using mobile device to browse desktop web pages.
