Switching power supply has the remarkable characteristics of high efficiency,small size and lightweight. Countries all over the world have extensive application inswitching power, especially research on high power high frequency switching powernowadays has already become the main research field of power electronics and manynew research directions has derived from it. Now, the rapid development of controltheory, power electronics technology and semiconductor materials provide a powerfulsupport for the development of high voltage high power switching power supply. Inrecent years, the continuous development of computer simulation technology,especially the coming out of Saber simulation software, plays a very big role in thedesign of switching power supply topology circuit and components’ parametersoptimization. It also reduces the cost of design, shorts the design cycle and improvesproduct reliability.This paper which based on geological exploration of high-powertransmitter in the field of technical specifications is to design a high-voltage powerswitching power supply topology, and complete the topology theoretical analysis,computer simulation and experimental verification. In this paper, the main work is asfollows:Firstly, this paper analyzes and compares the common topology of switchingpower supply. According to the power range and characteristics of each topology, itdesigns circuit for the topology of high power switching power supply. It also has thecomparative analysis of the hard-switching technology and soft-switching technologyand determines the switching power converter using the hard-switching technology.According to high-power switching power supply topology structure, this paperdesign a high power transmitter’s high voltage high power switching power supplytopology that is suitable for the geological prospecting field.The topology and thepower switching power supply topology main difference lies in its single secondarywinding of the high-frequency transformer replacement for dual secondary windingswhich makes the topology have a series and parallel output-mode and achieves thepurpose of high voltage output and wide range of voltage output. Then this paperelects and designs each component in the topology circuit. In this paper,usingtheoretical analysis and simulation tool complete filter inductor and LC filter design. At the same time it focuses on the analysis of the high-frequency transformermagnetic core selection and design theory and expounds high frequency transformerleakage inductance on the circuit topology and its reduction method, and highfrequency transformer magnetic bias phenomenon causes and suppression methods.Secondly, based on the high voltage high power switching power supplytopology circuit, this paper establishes the simulation model by using the powerelectronic simulation software Saber. Through the simulation, it verifies that therationality of the topology and device parameters.Then, this paper uses TMS320X2812as the main control chip to design thecontrol circuit, fulfill the laboratory experiment platform’s debugging and completethe research and analysis of the efficiency and loss of the circuit topology..Finally, this paper designed high power transmitter’s main topology which hasmaximum ouput power20kW and output voltage rang of100~1000V and completesthe research work of the main topology of high power transmitter engineeringprototype.
