With the rapid development of the internet, e-commerce has increasingly becomethe preferred way of shopping. Taobao,360buy become popular while the kinds ofgoods can be purchased online are going more and more. Now insurance products as aspecial commodity also joined to the ranks of e-commerce.In this dissertation, an online insurance and order management system base onthe requirement from insurance company was designed and completed. The systemsupports a variety of payment methods, also can sell a variety of insurance products. Itreserved expansion of space for more way of payment and new insurance products.The system includes three parts of function: online insurance, customer ordermanagement and logistics order management. Through the system users can buy theirinsurance products online fast and convenient by their self, manage their orders andpolicy. And the system provides a concise, easy-to-use user interface for the insurancecompany to query users’ orders, signing, or revocation.This system used spring v2.5as the development framework. It used a largenumber of webservice for the communication between components. It realizeddistributed layout that enhanced the reusability of components, and also increased thesecurity of the insurance company’s internal systems. The core system is deployed inthe internal network, the only way to get service from core system is visiting theserver on public network with a specified IP.Based on user feedback, the system was improved several times after it was usedonline. The functions as "Set all inform item to no", automatic withholding payment,authentication, SMS reminding were added to the system.
