Multiple motion parameters of vehicles usually refer to the vehicles’ position,attitude, velocity, attitude angular velocity, line-of-sight rate of relative targer at thereference coordinate system, etc, which are crucial to the flying state. Themeasurement of vehicle motion parameters is important for the evaluation of thevehicle motion simulation test. For the traditional measuring methods could notmeet the test requirements, it is needed to propose more vehicle multiple motionparameters measuring methods which are real-time. In this context, this paper willresearch on the methods of calibration and data processing for measuring system inthe motion simulation test.First, measuring methods of vehicle motion parameters in simulation test arestudied, including visual measuring methods of target motion characteristics, andmeasuring method and scheme for vehicle dynamic charateristics based on line, onbasis of which three approaches are adopted to compute and analyse the line-of-sight rate of vehicle. At the same time, model derivations for the three approachesare conducted, and the line-of-sight rate simulation platform based on real-timemeasuring system for motion parameters is established. Simulation results andrelative software platform are given.Secondly, camera calibration approach for large field of view is proposedbased on combination of small size targets. For the poor precision caused by smallsize targets when they are used to calibrate the camera with large field of view,small size targets are combined to get a large calibration template for the camera,and solving method for angular bisector of two lines based on the invariance ofcross-ratio is presented. Then the compound target with activity structure isdesigned, while the basic principle of using the combination of small size targets to conduct calibration is demonstrated and the main error sources of this method areanalysed.At last, according to the difference of operation coordinate system of thevehicle and measuring reference coordinate system, three kind of multiplecoordinate system data convertion methods are presented, and the affects ofconvertion errors for the final solution of motion parameters are analyzed throughsimulation experiments. According to multiple coordinate system data convertionmethods, conduct the calibration of multi-coordinate with the shape characteristicsof the vehicle, and three approaches which can directly measure the attitude matrixRmsand position vector Tmsobetween body coordinate system and structurecoordinate system are given.
