Video surveillance technology continues to evolve in recent years, there are moreand more applications of video surveillance in the social life, such as traffic manage-ment, traffic analysis, community security, banking supervision, social stability. Thereare many limitations in the application of most traditional video surveillance systemswhich high demands on the external environment and give the monitoring managers alot of pressure. Therefore, intelligence is the inevitable trend of monitoringtechnology development. Intelligent video surveillance system make people’sworkload into the computer’s workload by the power of fast computing, emphasis onuseful information and screen out useless information in the process of automaticanalysis of surveillance video, so they can greatly reduce related workers’ workload.Traditional single-view monitor systems’ visual field is very limited, and at thesame time the target depth information is lost. Using multi-angle monitor we can ex-pand the visual field and get a higher utilization of information through the exchangebetween the various perspectives, information exchanges and swaps can also producemore effective information. Target tracking plays a key basic role as an importanttechnology in the intelligent monitoring system.This paper is to design a distributed multi-view monitoring system platform acc-ording to the Multi-Agent architecture model, and use MFC framework to completethe implementation of the basic control functions of the multi-view intelligent surv-eillance system platform; to describes the current monitoring system target trackingmethods, and study multi-angle target tracking in this paper’s system platform basedon the characteristics. In solving the multi-angle target tracking problem the algorithmbased on the variational approximation method is used to achieve real-time targettracking in multi-view. The results show that the work of this paper get a progress, thebasic modules of multi-view intelligent surveillance system platform run smoothly,intelligent target tracking method on this system can achieve real-time and accuratetarget tracking effect.
