With the development of three-dimensional Internet (the Web3D) and distributedvirtual environment (DVE), three-dimensional virtual world is recognized by more andmore people because of its more realistic and immerse sense and better interaction. Thepeople participate in the three dimensional virtual world, where can free competition,cooperation, communication, and entertainment activities. At present, the application ofdistributed virtual world based on three-dimensional technique is mainly manifests in thesimulation,3D games and etc. Because the three dimensional environment needs totransmit the information are very many, the communication load generated by the increasein the number of users, may exceed the bearing capacity of the system, leading to declinein the performance of the system. Therefore studying the load optimization and theextendibility of the distributional three dimensional virtual world has the greatsignificance.Firstly, studied and analyzed the improvement of the server in distributedthree-dimensional virtual world, included the client-oriented synchronization model andthe hybrid DVE architecture based on temp server; In the client-oriented synchronizationmodel, aiming at the poor performance of the client may not complete communication,putting forward the client-oriented communication mode; In the hybrid DVE architecturebased on temp server, aiming at the problem of subordinate client side migration whenTemporary server exited, putting forward temporary server communication mode; Andcompared and analyze the difference of two communication modes.Secondly, analyzed the distribution three-dimensional virtual environment systembased on temp server, with detailed description of the overall framework, process etc;Gave a kind of design method to four modules function; And a kind of average standarddisposition algorithm was put forward, which according to the client computer hardwareresources and the utilization ratio, considering the possibility that the client was electedprovisional server.Finally, a simulation program was designed, which verifies the feasibility of the communication mode based on temporary server.
