Study Of Audience’s Perception Of The System Of Look And Image Of Nanjing Asian Youth Games

The look and image of a sporting event is one of the most important standards tojudge if it is successful. Meanwhile, it is a window to show the technology, economyand culture of the city which hold it. In August2013, Nanjing held the2nd Asian YouthsGames. A year later, Nanjing will hold the2nd Summer Youths Olympic Games.According to the Asian Youth Games in Nanjing, I make a research on audience’sperception of the system of look and image of this event, mainly using the means offactor analysis. Then, I explore the intention of sporting events’ look and image with themeans of logic analysis and so on. Here is my conclusions:1. With the means of factor analysis, I find27evaluating indicators that are highlycorrelative of the system of look and image of the Asian Youth Games in Nanjing. Thus,I draw4common factors of the Asian Youth Games in Nanjing: city’s public servicefacility, city’s tourism service facility, construction of the Asian Youth Games’ pavilionin Nanjing and design of the image of theAsian Youth Games.2.With the means of variance analysis, we can see that there are differences in theperceptions of the system of look and image of the Asian Youth Games in Nanjingbetween people of different groups according to anthropology. Among that, people ofdifferent professions, income and ages have clear different perceptions of the look andimage of theAsian Youth Games in Nanjing with each other.3.Having analyzed the advantages and disadvantages of the system of the look andimage of the Asian Youth Games in Nanjing, I have four suggestions on the system oflook and image of the2nd Summer Youths Olympic Games that Nanjing is going tohold in August. These four suggestions are about Nanjing’s public service facility, itstourism service facility, construction of the Summer Youth Olympics Games’ pavilionand design of the image of this event. 4. The system of the look and image of sporting events is a system consists of thesum of various kinds material images closely related to the sporting event and particularmarks, models and other sensitive elements that people give to the event to express itsattribute and value. The system of the look and image of a sporting event consists of thefollowing four elements: city’s public service facility, city’s tourism service facility,construction of the sporting event’s pavilion and design of the image of the event, whichare collated according to its importance.
